Casa do Sear opens all year

We love receiving visitors and meeting people! So it is not necessary to stay in the house so you can get closer to this corner of the Rias Bajas. In addition, if during your visit there are free rooms, we will gladly show them to you. And if you want to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine in the garden, on the patio or in the dining room, no problem!

* Check-in (day of entry): -The room will be available from 3:00 pm, but you can get to the house at the time that best suits you. -If you arrive before 3:00 p.m., we will store your luggage and if you do not want to leave the house, you can stay reading, watching TV, or having a drink in any of the common areas until your room is ready. -We appreciate you to inform us of your estimated time of arrival. * Check-out (departure day): -The room will have to be free by 12:00h. -You can stay in the common areas of the house until the time you need. -If you want to take advantage of the afternoon on the beach, you can leave the car in the parking lot without any problem. Similarly, you can leave your luggage at the house and come to pick it up at night. *Breakfast: -9:00h. to 11:00h. -If you need to have breakfast before because you have organized an excursión, because you want to start the return home at dawn, or… let us know and we will organize an alternative. *Dinner: -From 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. -If you need dinner outside these hours, let us know and we will do everything possible to adjust to your needs.

We have free private parking -with shade area in summer- for clients and visitors.

We love animals, but we are not yet equipped to offer a good service to those travelers who travel with their pets, so -for the moment- we prefer not to admit animals. However, we know accommodations in the surroundings that offer this option and we can gladly provide you their contact information.

The house has 3 types of rooms: -Double Standard Room: 25 square meters -Double Special Room: 33 square meters -Double Suite Room: 40 square meters

All our rooms have a queen size bed

We offer the possibility of including between 1 and 3 extra beds of different sizes (0.90m, 1.20m or 1.35m) depending on the room. Since the structure and architecture of the house, it was not feasible to put and remove the metal extra beds every time they were requested, we decided to order "sofa-beds", which were made to measure for each room. On this way, we keep the aesthetic care of our rooms, while we give the possibility of staying up to 5 people in the same room. These sofa-beds have been made with the best materials and have been upholstered again in 2016. They have metallic slats and good mattresses, which allow them to be used by both children and adults of strong constitution. Whenever an extra bed is reserved, it is prepared on the same way as the main one, what means with its protector, complete set of embroidered sheets, blanket (in winter), quilt or comforter and pillow. If you need to book one or more extra beds, we suggest you to contact us before making your reservation so we can advise you on which room best suits your needs.

We put at your disposal everything you may need for your baby on vacation: from cribs, to bathtubs, strollers, high chairs, hammocks, intercoms with a camera, bottle warmer, bibs, children's games, stories ... We have 3 types of cribs: -Wooden bassinet -Wooden cribs -Portable cots *All are prepared with mattress, protector and sheet set complete with blanket or zipper bag so when kids are very restless they do not get uncovered at night. All baby accessories do not have any additional cost. We thank you for reporting that you are traveling with your baby so we can have everything ready in your room at the time of arrival.

-The room rate includes a very complete homemade continental breakfast with: * Coffee, soluble cocoa or infusion * Freshly squeezed orange juice *Homemade cake * Natural fruits * Bar bread toasts * Freshly mashed tomato with olive oil *Homemade jam -It exists the possibility of requesting the "American Breakfast", for an extra cost of €9 per person. It includes: *Continental breakfast * 2 Eggs * 2 Salsichas * Baicon -The breakfast hours are from 9:00am. to 11:00am. * If you need breakfast before 9:00am, either because you have organized an excursion or because you want to start the trip back home at dawn, or…, let us know and we will organize an alternative.

-We offer a la carte dinners, upon reservation. -We have a very large menu, especially considering that we are not a restaurant. We also work with fresh foods to guarantee the quality of them. This combination of factors is possible because we serve dinners prior reservation. For this reason, if you want to dine at the house, you must inform us during breakfast so we can buy the products you are going to taste in the local market. Then we will put all the love of the traditional cuisine of our ancestors, but with the personal touch that our family has in the way of cooking. However, we always say that in our house nobody can go to bed hungry, so if during breakfast you are not very clear about the plan for the night, or if you are someone who prefers to go with the flow, you can always snack something less elaborated (cold cuts or cheese boards, salads, croquettes, omelettes ...), even without prior notice. -You'll find the menu with all our products and their prices in the common areas and in all the rooms. -For dinners the day of "Arrival" we would appreciate you to get in touch with us. -Dinner hours are from 9:00pm. to 11:00pm., but if you had to dine outside of these hours, let us know and we will do everything possible to adjust to the maximum to your needs.

-The rates of our rooms include exclusively breakfast (continental). -We offer "Picninc bags" for meals during excursions: * Adult: € 8.80 * Children: € 6.80 - There is the possibility of dining "A la carte", upon reservation. -Some of our special packages include dinner for two people, as well as other services.

Our Massage Service is a Novelty of 2018. -It is necessary to book the appointment with a minimum of 24h. in advance. -Types of Massages & Prices * Total Relaxation: € 56 - 50 minutes * Partial Relaxation: € 35 - 30 minutes * Circulatory: € 40 - 30 minutes * Decontracting: € 40 - 30 minutes * Hydrotherapy pedal: € 40 - 30 minutes -We have special packages that include massages. All our rates include the V.A.T.

-The room prices are for a maximum of two people and include: * Homemade continental breakfast * V.A.T. -Additional people have a supplement of: * 1 Additional Person: € 30 * 2 Additional People: € 50 * 3 Additional People: € 60 - Children from 0 to 3 years old who sleep in a crib stay for FREE.

-They apply only in those reservations made directly from the web or through the phone. Those that are made through other websites or agencies will not enjoy the discounts and offers that are offered here. -They are always applied on the base price of the room; Extra beds, dinners and other services are excluded, unless otherwise specified. -They are not cumulative.

We allow reservations one year in advance. July and August are the most "conflicting" months in terms of availability, since they are the dates of most demand and, in addition, there are regular customers who leave their room booked from one year to another, so if your idea is to come in this period, we recommend that you book as soon as possible to be able to choose the room that you like or interest in capacity, price, views or size. Those reservations made with a minimum of 30 days in advance, will have a 5% discount on the price of the chosen room, regardless of the season.

A reservation is confirmed once the "Advance payment" has been delivered with this concept. The "Advance payment" corresponds to 25% of the Total. The delivery of the "Advance payment" can be done in two ways: *By Bank transfer. *Facilitating the information of a credit card Both options will be facilitated by the system so you can choose the one that is most convenient for you. If you are not sure of the dates, you are waiting to be confirmed on vacation days at work, or you want to check the options with your partner before confirming the reservation, you can contact us to make a "Pre -Reservation". On this way, we will block the room you indicate for a certain period of time, thus preventing you from staying without a room while you decide.

You never lose your money. -The cancellation is FREE as long as it is done with a minimum of 7 days before the scheduled entry date. -If canceled less than 7 days in advance, you can request a change of dates. This way you will never lose your money.

As long as the reservation has been canceled with a minimum of 7 days prior to the scheduled entry date, the full amount of the "Advance payment" will be returned to you. The return may take up to 1 month from the time it is processed. If you have not received your money after one month, please contact us so that we can solve the problem with the Channel Manager we work with.

The "Advance payment" as confirmation of the booking can be made in two ways, which will be offered by the system at the time you are going to formalize the reservation: -Bank transfer: in this case, we appreciate that you indicate the name which you have given for the reservation, the day of entry and the day of departure. -Facilitating the details of a credit card

-Once the advance payment is done, you do not have to worry about more payments until your stay has ended, that is, until the day you leave. At that time you will pay the amount pending. -You can make the payment on 3 different ways: *Cash *Credit / Debit Card: we accept practically all the cards except the American Express *Online Banking Transfer

We offer the possibility of organizing different types of events in our facilities. In the section of this web dedicated to it you will find all the information about it. When an event is held in the house or in the garden, it is closed exclusively for it, so there will be no guests staying in the rooms.

If you intend to reserve a room in our house, you may have the doubt of whether there will be an event during your stay that prevents you from the rest you are looking for, is that the case? Well, let me tell you that you have nothing to worry about, because when we reserve the property for an event, we close the house exclusively for it, so there is no possibility that if you come a few days of vacation to our house you will go to find a garden party. We consider that an event (= Party) and a vacation in one of our rooms (= Rest) are two incompatible issues that, in no way, can be combined. Therefore, if there are guests staying in the rooms, there is no event; and if there is an event, the only ones that can be in the rooms are the hosts or guests of the celebration in question, but never private travelers who have nothing to do with it.

We do not want you to have any trouble locating us. For this reason, I advise you to follow our instructions. It is very simple and there is no need to get lost or overwhelmed by spinning senselessly. My first recommendation is that once you leave the highway in Pontevedra, you switch off the GPS, but if you do not feel safe traveling without the navigator, then the best thing is that in "Final Destination" you write down “RESTAURANTE A POSTIÑA, EN AREAS”, instead of our address or the name of the house. On this way, you will arrive at the point of the main road where you will have to take the first detour, and from there to the house there is only 500 meters, where you will find 3 indicators that will guide you to the main gate. HOW TO GET HERE: -Highway Exit: "Pontevedra Norte" (Poio, Sanxenxo, O Grove) -15Kms. Approx. quietly along the coast road, passing through the following towns: Poio, Combarro, Samieira, Raxó, Dorrón and Areas -When you get to the sign that says "Areas", pass a very deep curve with change of grade and 2 zebra crossings -Just on the 2nd pedestrian crossing, on the left you will find the "Restaurante A Postiña", whose sign is in a semi circle and with light. On the right, you will see an indicator in green that says "Casa de Turismo Rural" The house is about 500m.from the main road. -Take this detour to the right and at the next crossing (about 250m.), you will find a green sign that says "Casa do Sear Turismo Rural" and that leads you to the left. - A few meters further on, you will see a last sign similar to the previous one, which will bring you directly to the entrance of the house. Following these steps, you should not have any problem, but if for any reason you feel that you have got lost, the best thing you can do is to stop the car and call us to locate and explain how to continue.
